Some of you may know about the update coming on the 18th of August, adding many new features to IFBOT. Let's start off with a basic but vital piece of information to know. When you're doing a flight on IFSIM, make to type !file [Your callsign]. Make sure to use uppercase and lowercase letters the exact same way as they are in game. Also, make sure to file a flight plan in game unless you are remaining in the pattern. When you use the !file command, the ATC a controller will see your flight plan. Also, you must use the !file command for the !decent command to work (Used to calculate when to begin your decent.)
Now, the squawk code feature. When you have been assigned a squawk code in clearance delivery, use the command !squawk [Callsign] [Squawk Code]. This will allow our ATC controllers to verify your flight plan.
Now, Tower strips. This is a feature that will allow you to see information about an aircraft currently flying. This information will including the aircraft departure airport, arrival airport, route, current speed and altitude, heading, etc. To see a certain aircraft's information, simply type !info [Callsign]
So, those were how to use some of the new cool features being added. Regards, KJ
